The “EOTM Reading Rush Challenge”

Three months ago, I created a reading challenge on Tiktok and I’m now inviting you to join in and participate as well! :)

What is the “EOTM RR Challenge”?

It is a little reading challenge called “End of the Month Reading Rush Challenge”.

How does it work?

It is very simple. Every month, I give myself a pile of books “To be Read” aka TBR. So for the last 7 days of the month, I count the number pages left from my TBR in order to complete said TBR. I then divide that number by 7 et I get my daily goal for the challenge. I then try to read that number of pages. Are my goals realistic and achievable? NEVER! But it always makes me laugh how unrealistic the goals I set myself are and I find it kind of fun and silly. It’s my way of giving myself a little bit of joy by the end of the month. I still do try to read as many pages as possible, don’t get me wrong. But I do not pressure myself too much! ;)

Who can participate?

Everyone! :)

How to participate?

I make daily Tiktoks to update you on my progress during the challenge so you can actually see how many pages I actually manage to read every day. I usually repost those videos on my Youtube channel as well. Starting August 2022, I will be posting my progress on Facebook as well. You can participate by commenting on those videos or the Facebook posts, whichever social media you prefer. You can share your progress by doing Tiktok videos, Instagram reels or other media. You can also participate by yourself at home without sharing. It all depends on what you are comfortable doing and sharing. Regardless of how you decide de participate, your choice is valid! :) You may also use the hashtag #eotmreadingrushchallenge so I can find your content.

Can you give us an example?
